Late Thoughts on Four Freedoms

I remember our speaker asking us the question "Which of the four freedoms is most important today?". There were some good reasons presented for fear, want and speech. I felt nobody really touched on how vital the freedom of religion is to America. Therefore, in lieu of randomness, I will share a few thoughts on this critical freedom.

This is the age of globalization. What that means to me is that we'll be dealing with people from anywhere in the world on a business, social and political level. I also think it wouldn't be a stretch to say that we have people here in America that share the same belief systems as those of anyone in the world. This freedom protects these ambassadors to another culture and the understanding they bring us. In summation; if we can't be understanding within our own world inside our borders, how can we exist on this new global stage?
